The United Nations under SG Kofi Annan would like to lump all NGOs with the corporations under the title "Civil Society." Most NGO's do not mind being labeled with the new UN term "Civil Society" but they would like to be keep seperate from the corporations. Many NGOs see the corporations as a big part of the global problems. See "Global Problems."
